The Buch Northeast team took on the interior tenant fit-out of 2U’s Brooklyn-based office. This fit-out took place in an old warehouse turned commercial office space in one of Brooklyn’s oldest neighborhoods, nestled between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. Impacted by material and labor shortages, the team pushed through working extended hours and weekends to successfully deliver the project within 12 weeks. The 15,000 SF office space was fitted out with complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and sprinkler systems, 3 custom pantry/kitchens, acoustical sprayed ceilings, and polished concrete floors. The trades worked in 4 rotating phases, which allowed every trade to be on the site and effective throughout the project.
