Buch renovated JBG’s Parklawn ELEMENT, a 93,000 square foot office building adjacent to the Twinbrook Metro Station in Rockville, MD.  This adaptive reuse project consisted of a complete 4-story exterior and interior renovation.  The existing structure was demolished down to the steel and a new core and shell were constructed which included a modern lobby with an elaborate staircase, a fitness center, and new elevators.

The project was originally targeting a LEED Silver certification, but during construction attained sufficient points needed to deliver a LEED Gold project.
