    The Escape Room
    Washington, DC

Buch was awarded its first escape room project by The Escape Game. The Buch team worked closely with escape room project designers to create an efficiently functioning and easily maintainable space. This included ensuring the wall dimensions, electrical outlets, and tele/data infrastructure were all located in a convenient spot. Many of the rooms required plywood blocking on every wall to support the different finish installations. Buch was able to turn over the space to The Escape Game installers to install the final finishes on time while
still working together to close the project out. The biggest challenge during this project was the preparation leading up to the final inspections. Buch had this portion of the project closely monitored with the Escape Game team to ensure all procedures worked flawlessly in case of an emergency. Due to the strong collaboration with the client, we successfully delivered our first-ever escape room project.
