Buch provided preconstruction and construction services for a build out of warehouse space to provide manufacturing, office and lab space for Applied Biomimetic, a biotech leader specializing in high performance membranes. Buch was brought on early in the design process to assist with procuring long lead items and providing constructability reviews as design sets were issued, which helped to keep costs down. Additionally, the design was broken into packages to accelerate the project.

The scope included coordination of setup and final connections to their large production caster, lab space including an overhead raceway for electric and compressed air, dunnage and a new RTU and chiller, a cold storage room, a chemical storage room, a large air compressor tank, and large water storage tank. Buch assisted in coordination with the landlord, local jurisdiction, and utility providers.
