Buch partnered with WB Engineers + Consultants to provide construction services for DSM’s site in Columbia, MD. This project involved a meticulous conversion of an existing wet lab into a clean utility space capable of accommodating three autoclaves. The scope of work encompassed various phases, including the construction of a new egress corridor, the replacement of three steam boilers, installation of a new water softener, a deaerator tank, and a highly efficient condensate return unit. This complex endeavor was executed across five distinct phases, allowing DSM to seamlessly maintain their daily operations throughout the process.
