Buch completed this office renovation and TV studio project in Washington, D.C. The Summit occupies two floors in the building which needed a complete upgrade. The project included demolition and build back of open floor plan office space as well as a TV studio with supporting Edit rooms and an IT room. Modern open ceiling concepts with acoustical clouds and new light fixtures were installed throughout. Per the client’s request, an interconnecting staircase was constructed to connect the two floors. This required close coordination between different stakeholders to ensure a successful installation within the desired time frame. All work was carefully performed during night shifts to avoid disruption to the other tenants in the building.
