Westfield Wheaton South Tower

Buch worked with retail developer Westfield to complete a major renovation of their 140,000 SF, 7-story corporate offices building in Montgomery County, MD. The scope of work included demolition and upgrades to lobbies on all floors, new elevator cab finishes, installation of a fully-operational sprinkler system throughout the building (previously non-sprinklered) while keeping the building fully occupied and operational. The team increased the building’s water service capacity by installing a new 1,000 ft waterline along with a fire pump, both required to support the sprinkler system. Exterior work included new entrance canopies, EIFS, new sidewalks, and painting of the entire façade.
