AGC MD Champions of Safety Event

Every successful project has one goal that matters more than any deadline, milestone, or ribbon cutting: making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

At Buch, that commitment is part of our culture. It is reflected in the decisions we make, the way our teams look out for one another, and the standards we uphold on every project

This year’s Maryland Associated General Contractors (MDAGC) Champions of Safety Awards, held at the Annapolis Maritime Museum in, where industry professionals gathered to celebrate companies leading the way in construction safety. Buch was also proud to support the event as a Champion of Safety sponsor. During the awards ceremony, Buch received two significant honors:

  • AGC Maryland Safe General Contractor Award – Zero Lost Time

For the second consecutive year, Buch received the Zero Lost Time Award, recognizing contractors that completed the year without a work-related injury or illness resulting in lost work time and maintain a combined incident rate 100% below the Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average.

  • AGC Maryland Safe General Contractor Award – 250,001–500,000 Hours Worked

The Safe General Contractor Award recognizes outstanding safety performance among Maryland general contractors in the 250,001–500,000 hours worked category following a comprehensive evaluation process.

These awards reflect a company-wide commitment to creating a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility, from the jobsite to the office and everywhere in between.
