Buch successfully accomplished an interior renovation of a shell-condition retail space to convert it into a day care facility.  Construction consisted of building six classrooms, seven restrooms, employee kitchen and break room, laundry room, reception space, office spaces, conference room and storage room.  Alterations to the existing storefront and masonry was included in the scope of work to create new entrances into the day care facility.  New power service was also needed, requiring shut down activities and coordination with the local power company. The Montessori Kids Universe offers day care with an educational approach which sets them apart from traditional organizations. This particular location is now open to service the community in their newly renovated facility located in Alexandria, VA.
